These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Orchard Ops, a macOS application developed by Orchardworks ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using Orchard Ops, you agree to these Terms.
2. License
Orchard Ops is licensed, not sold. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software on your personal devices.
- Free tier: You may use Orchard Ops with up to 3 scheduled tasks at no cost.
- Pro license: A one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited tasks. Each license key may be activated on up to 3 devices owned by the same user.
3. Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
- Redistribute, sublicense, or share your license key with others
- Use the software for any unlawful purpose
4. Your Tasks and Data
Orchard Ops executes scripts and commands that you configure. You are solely responsible for the content and behavior of your scheduled tasks. We do not monitor, review, or control what your tasks do.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Orchard Ops is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:
- Scheduled tasks will execute at the exact specified time
- Wake-from-sleep will succeed in all hardware configurations
- The software will be free of bugs or interruptions
You acknowledge that task scheduling depends on system conditions including macOS settings, power state, and hardware capabilities.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orchardworks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of Orchard Ops, including but not limited to damages caused by tasks failing to execute, executing at incorrect times, or wake-from-sleep not functioning as expected.
7. Updates
We may release updates to Orchard Ops from time to time. Updates are delivered via Sparkle and are optional. We do not guarantee the availability of future updates or continued development.
8. Termination
You may stop using Orchard Ops at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to revoke a license key if these Terms are violated.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
